Guidelines & Etiquette
Respect Online & In Person.
RESPECT IS REALLY THE ONLY RULE.
Be Respectful and Constructive - Disagreements are natural, but always be polite. No insults, personal attacks, or hostile language.
Absolutely NO Harassment.
Stay On Topic - Each subgroup has a purpose—keep discussions relevant. Off-topic messages make it harder for others to engage. Sometimes things get off topic. It’s bound to happen but do your best!
Each sub-group will need an admin as a sponsor and each group MUST host a IRL event once a quarter / 4x a year
No Spam or Excessive Self-Promotion - Avoid forwarding unverified information, chain messages, or promotional content unless explicitly allowed.
No Excessive Forwarding or Off-Topic Links. Don't post the same message in every chat. Avoid Using the Group as a Personal Blog.
Use Direct Messages (DMs) for One-on-One Conversations - If a discussion becomes personal or involves only two people, move it to DM. This is good if you already know each other BUT don't make others feel uncomfortable.
Messaging & calling randomly is weird.
THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE.
Report Issues to Admins, Not in the Group - If you notice a violation or have concerns, message an admin privately instead of calling it out publicly.
Search Before Asking - Many common questions have already been answered. Check pinned messages, past conversations, or do a quick GOOGLE search.
Engagement Over Noise - Quality engagement is better than sheer volume. If everyone follows these guidelines, the group will be more valuable and enjoyable for all.
